PHILIPS press conference about the new monitors took place on October 2, in Warsaw. During the meeting there were presented the latest PHILIPS monitors, including 27-inch Gioco – 3D display with Ambiglow and AH-IPS matrix, as well as 23-inch monitor with MHL, which not only allows the users to connect their phone or other mobile device but also to charge it at the same time.
Joanna Kaminska from the Department of Ergonomics of the Central Institute for Labour Protection National Research Institute explained the basic principles of ergonomics which should be followed by people working with the computer. This speech was an introduction to the presentation of PHILIPS ErgoSensor, the monitor which helps to detect and correct improper posture of users sitting in front of it.
In the workshop part the invited journalists could try to put the ergonomic principles into effect.
